They Think They’re Rescuing A Neglected Dog Until They Take A Closer Look

Julia had infected wounds and pus, and blood was oozing out of many different spots on her emaciated body. Lisa was able to win Julia’s trust with some food. Even though Julia was clearly very hungry, she took the treats from Lisa gently. Finally, after about 20 minutes, they slipped a lead around Julia’s neck.

Eldad and Lisa loaded Julia into the car and drove her to a The Veterinary Care Center in Hollywood.

Julia wasn’t sure about getting into the car at first, but they did manage to get her inside with sweet talk and encouragement.

At the vet, it was determined that Julia had Demodectic mange. She was in desperate need of a bath, and her nails were way too long!

A nice hot bath revealed just how skinny this two-year-old wolf-hybrid was under all the dirt.
