Sadly, it was too late, the illness had spread to Kenley’s brain. The family started a GoFundMe page to help with her medical expenses.
When Kenley had no more brain activity, the family made the heartbreaking decision to turn off life support.
Please be sure to check your children for ticks after they play outside. The sooner you find and remove the tick, the better.
