The shelter introduced Madeleine to a 16-year-old ginger boy named Chester. Chester had been surrendered by his owner. The last year of his life, Chester has been at the shelter hiding in a corner. When Chester met Madeleine, things were good again for both of them!
Admittedly, Madeleine had no idea what she was getting herself into! The pair bonded immediately. Chester’s age didn’t deter Madeleine at all. No animal deserves to die alone at a shelter.
It only took Chester five hours to make himself at home at Madeleine’s. King of his own domain once again!
