Weeks before Lulu’s death, DFUPU had been working on purchasing a ‘wild’ and spunky calf that had been running loose for a few weeks.
They planned to put the calf in an enclosure next to Baby, so Baby could get used to the calf’s presence.
As soon as the calf was unloaded, she burst through the gate to be with Baby – so much for getting acclimated!
The bond between the lonely calf and Baby was instant!
The little calf does all the same things for Baby that Lulu used to do!
