At first, the dog was eager for treats from both researchers – all the while observing their every move.
However, the dog later ignored treats from researcher B, who did not help his owner out unlike researcher A, who did so. It welcomed treats from researcher A just as it did before.
The researchers thus concluded that dogs are able to judge a person’s character, then they react according to whom seemed trustable.
Therefore, your dog is actually smarter than you think.
If it ever refuses to take a treat from someone for no reason whatsoever, they might actually think that the person beside you is a bad person!
