Rescuers Rescue One-Eyed Cat Only To Realize She Has A Blind Sister Depending On Her

Lola is smaller, but is in charge because she has one eye – she does the seeing for both of them. Lola and Lucy were only about a year old when they arrived at SPCR. The first order of business was to get them to put on weight.

Within two months, both girls had nearly doubled their weight! Lucy depends on Lola to help guide her around.

The two are always by each other’s side. In a sad update, Lola’s eye ruptured and will have to be removed. Cats are resilient creatures, however, and with Lucy by her side, Lola will be able to adapt.

Share away, people.
