No one told Brutus that he was sick, so he just carried on with the business of being a cat. Claire Owens, Brutus’ mom, said that Brutus walked around like he owned the place!
Typical cat! Being at the store and interacting with the customers made Brutus happy. Sadly, Brutus passed away on January 16.
Owens said she has received a lot of condolence messages that it was overwhelming. A memorial to honor Brutus will be built so customers can still greet him when they come to shop.
