Cat Brothers Who Hadn’t Seen Each Other For 2 Years Reunite On A Human Date

The hope of animal shelter workers is to keep bonded animals together – but it doesn’t always work. It would be great if we didn’t have to split up families or loved ones at animal shelters, but it can’t be helped in many cases. This story is almost too hard to believe! Ozzy and his brother Butter had been separated at the shelter when they both got adopted.

Ozzy, Butter and their four siblings had been found alone as kittens in a trailer park. They were all taken to Petaluma Animal Services in Petaluma, California. When the kittens were old enough to be adopted, Cathleen Cavin and her daughter fell in love!

They could only adopt one cat and took Ozzy home. After a short while, Cathleen and her daughter realized that Ozzy was lonely and he missed his brother, Butter.
