This story just is too hard to believe – but it is true. Ten puppies were left in a cardboard box.
When they were found, they were all covered in their own urine. The person who found the box was an angel.
In Alberobello, a rural village in Italy, said the mother dog was nowhere around (which makes sense, no mother dog would leave her puppies in a box all alone – this was the work of a cruel human).
Sadly, two puppies passed away just under 24 hours after being found.
All of the puppies were yellow in color due to the urine that covered their bodies.
Can you imagine how that must have been for the pups?
