Dogs have a very sensitive nose and to be covered in your own fifth and not be able to do anything about it must have been terrible.
All the remaining puppies were severely emaciated. Before any puppy was given a bath, they were all given a bottle of milk.
Once they had a full tummy, the bath would be easier for everyone.
After the pups had drunk their fill, they were bathed and given medication.
One of the pups has been adopted, but the other seven are still waiting to find a forever home.
