108-Year Old Who Was About To Be Kicked Out Of Assisted Living Facility Receives A Huge Surprise

We all are growing older – we can’t help it. When a person retires, they go on a fixed income. They get social security and maybe some retirement from their job. Many older people want to remain independent – but what happens when the money runs out? The money won’t last forever.

Well, Carrie Rausch, 108, ran out of money and was kicked out of the assisted living facility where she lived when she couldn’t pay the monthly fees.

The facility won’t accept her Medicaid money as payment. Here I thought all money was – well, money.

Anyway, Carrie now has to move to another facility that will take her Medicaid money. Carrie’s children are trying to help – but they are having trouble coming up with the $40,000 their mother needs.
