A rat is the hero of this story. This is the story of a rat who takes on a snake to save her baby. The person who captured this act of motherly love on video was Rojas Montecinos Envy. She was coming home from work when she saw the snake pick up her infant baby rat. The mother rat was right there and wanted her baby back!
The mother is persistent, she keeps biting and biting at the tail of the snake. You can see the snake is desperate to get away, but can’t. Finally, the snake drops the baby. But, momma rat isn’t quite finished with that snake quite yet!
The snake tried to make a break for it in the tall grass on the side of the road, but momma rat is in hot pursuit. Once the momma rat is certain the snake isn’t going to come back, she returns to her baby.
