A woman in London recently brought new meaning to the old saying that their intimate partner “blew their mind” in bed.
The woman was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke that was triggered during oral sex.
Luckily, she had no permanent damage and only had a moderate headache after regaining consciousness.
However, her story has gone global as people seek to understand just what happened that left her being rushed to the ER after an intimate experience.
The woman, who did not want to be identified, passed out while receiving oral sex.

Her partner called an ambulance and, thankfully, the woman regained consciousness after about 3 minutes.
The medics initially thought that she was suffering from a seizure.
However, once she reached the hospital it was determined that the stroke was caused by the bursting of blood vessels in the woman’s brain.
Her official diagnosis was a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a type of brain bleed.
Fortunately, her specific brain bleed was relatively small.
Yet, doctors couldn’t help be intrigued by the rupture, acknowledging that this wasn’t the first time sexual activity has played some type of role in blood vessels bursting.
However, past medical studies have only focused around penetrative sex leading to these negative medical effects.
The woman was hospitalized for 2 weeks after the blood vessel popped, ensuring she was fully healed as well as giving physicians time to conduct additional tests to ensure there were no lasting complications.
They determined that none of her past medical history contributed to the stroke.

Perhaps not surprisingly, this woman wasn’t the first person to undergo a near-death experience during either oral or penetrative sex.
The goal of the medical community is to better understand any potentially serious reactions or issues caused by any type of sexual relations.
The woman did share with her doctors that she was on the point of nearing orgasm when the stroke came on, also meaning that was the time that the blood vessels ruptured in her brain.
Thankfully, the woman has made a full recovery and will not have any lasting effects from the stroke or from the blood vessels bursting.
Her story is one that has become interesting to people across the world, both in the medical community and average people who seek to understand more details of what exactly happened.
Her story can’t help but intrigue us all.
