Having a disability makes life harder for anyone. For Jasmine the calico cat, it had resulted in an incredibly difficult life as a stray on the streets. Covered in beautiful fluffy fur, Jasmine’s eyes are big and black with yellow rims around the edges, but they cannot see.

Jasmine’s life as a stray had likely led to poor nutrition, a lack of care, and a number of fights and sticky situations that caused her to lose her vision.

Luckily, Jasmine was picked up by Association Adoption Feline, she was able to be placed into a foster home, but she loved for a permanent family.

That’s when a post about this special cat caught the eye of Sandra Coudray and her mother, who both immediately fell in love with her. They previously had a cat who had become blind as she grew older.
