That is one happy cat. The head bump that a cat gives other cats is a sign of ‘family,’ love, and trust. I have a few cats who have even given me a head bump! The kitty in the picture is a 13-year-old cat who was rescued from a shelter.
Most cats his age would probably not be adopted – but, one young woman named Sarah Dempsey took a chance.

She named her cat Jamie, a Burmese cat. Jamie was found living at the RSPCA in Australia. He had been surrendered because his elderly owner could not take care of him any longer.

As soon as Jamie saw Sarah, he went right up to her. Jamie had been passed up many times because he was ‘too old.’
