After A Lifetime Of Misery And Abuse In Travelling Circuses, 33 Lions Finally Learn Their Fate

The lions were taken to Africa to live out their days. Because they were in captivity for so long, they won’t be able to survive in the wild. Tragically, many of the lions were declawed, and their teeth were intentionally smashed.

The Emoya Big Cat Sanctuary in Vaalwater, South Africa is their new home. They have the sky above them, and the earth below – they will be living like cats for the first time in their lives!
