My personal favorite is the one they call “The Cloud.” All of the shelters are known as peri-urban shelters and have been popping up all over Bordeaux since 2010.
As you may imagine, shelters like this are quite popular, and you do have to go to The Suburban Shelters website to reserve one. Some of the shelters have quite a waiting list, so, be patient!
On the site, they recommend you plan your trip two months in advance to secure a shelter. Many of the shelters are located on the Green Loop, which offers access to wonderful hiking trails!
