There are some really mean people out there who are now using tennis balls as weapons. BEWARE! The tennis ball bomb can seriously injure your child and may kill your dog. To make a tennis ball ‘bomb’ people are putting firecrackers inside them. It is illegal but is still being done.
One dog had to be euthanized when one of the tennis ball bombs exploded in his mouth. You may be able to imagine losing an arm or a hand if you or your child picked one up when it went off. The best thing to do to avoid being injured with one of these weapons is to stay away from tennis balls you may find laying on the ground.
