The X-Factor UK is probably one of the most popular reality show singing competitions of all time, due in part to the intense drama and the harsh, snippy criticism of Simon Cowell. The stages of the competition have evolved over the years, with the latest seasons featuring a Six Chair challenge where singers compete to take one of the six seats on the stage that will allow them to move on to the next round.

Olivia Garcia, 16, was shaking visibly when she stepped onto the stage as the final singer for the day’s challenge, and all the seats had already been filled. She had to do her best and sing her heart out to win one of those coveted chairs, even though she was so nervous that her fright was visible on her face.

But as Olivia began her song, “Changing” by Paloma Faith, the audience erupted into cheers. Her voice was beautiful and she gave an incredible performance!
