Ohio Teen Loses More Than 100 Pounds Walking To School Every Day

With fast food restaurants and drive-throughs all across the nation, losing weight is difficult for many people,

Michael Watson, a 17-year-old who lived in Ohio, has struggled with his own weight throughout his entire life.

Fortunately for Michael, however, the high school senior was recognized on his school district’s Facebook profile for having lost more than 115 pounds in the past three years.

Michael drew motivation from his brother, Richard, who lost upwards of 50 pounds when Michael was a freshman.

As soon as Michael’s sophomore campaign came around, he began walking to school, even in inclement weather conditions.

He also stopped eating fast food and began preparing his own meals, which were far healthier than the fast food and processed foods he was accustomed to eating.

Another reason why Michael Watson lost the 115-plus pounds is that he grew tired of being unable to walk very far without having to stop for breaths.

He recalls being out of breath after walking between classes at his Ohio high school, even.
