If you remember your order of operations from school, you know that you do the things in parenthesis first, then multiply and divide. That all comes from the phrase “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally” – remember?
So, you add the one and two and get three. Then take 2 and multiply by three and get six. Six divided by six is one! Well, you may not be aware that the phrase is a little out of date. If you got the answer to this math problem to be “1” – your math skills are a little rusty (and out of date)!
