The marketing manager, Heather Hayes, at the Asheville Humane Society had a very old and sick Chihuahua hiding under her desk. No one expected the poor creature to live because she was so old and sick. Then one day, the dog looked at her – which is something she hadn’t done before.

Heather was able to take the dog home to at least give her one last night on earth knowing love and care.

Maybe it was all the love she got that night – we will never know. Heather named her Jay-Z.
