In Brazil, Lana, the dog, was adopted late last year by Suelen Schaumloeffel and her fiancé. Lana had been found living as a stray with her siblings and never forgot what life was like before she found a forever home.

During some cold weather, Lana took her thick, warm blanket out of her doghouse and dragged it to the fence line so she could share it with a stray dog!

Schaumloeffel said she had seen the other dog just the day before wandering around their home but wasn’t sure if he was a stray or not. Schaumloeffel and her fiancé have both tried to get close to the stray dog, but he runs off before they get too close.

So, they have been leaving food and water out for him. He also has half of Lana’s blanket and her company! Thanks to Lana, he isn’t alone (or hungry) any longer.
