This kind of story makes me so angry. A dog was beaten to a pulp for no apparent reason.
A female border collie called Mira was savagely abused in Kentucky.
She was in the care of The Arrow Fund on Thursday and was taken moved to the Knox-Whitney Animal Shelter when she started to have seizures.
Finally, Mira ended up at BluePearl Veterinary Hospital in Louisville.
Witnesses say she was beaten with a board.
The following day, it was announced that Mira had died, despite the vet team’s best efforts.
I hope the person(s) responsible for this are found and punished.
No animal deserves to be treated like that – no matter what they may have done.

People, in my opinion, who hit or abuse animals and children are the lowest form of life on earth.
Rest in Peace, sweet Mira. At least she is no longer in any pain.
