On a dark night on a dark stretch of road, Deputy Todd Frazier responded to a call about an abandoned vehicle in Pearlington, Mississippi. As he approached the Lincoln Town Car, he saw a man sitting alone inside. All of a sudden, the man jumped out of the car, and two other men emerged from the nearby woods. It was an ambush! The three men held a knife to Frazier’s throat and dragged him towards the woods. Frazier hadn’t gone to the scene alone, he had his K9 Partner, Lucas with him.

Amazingly, Frazier was able to push the button that opened the door and let Lucas out of the car. Lucas sprang into action and managed to scare all the men off! Thanks to Lucas, Frazier only suffered minor injuries. Lucas tore his ACL and had some broken teeth, but has fully recovered!
