A dog is known to be man’s best friend. This duo are a perfect example. A man named Rick and a pit-bull named Karma were each other’s best friend for a long time. They would do anything for each other, like Rick not hesitating to jump into a river to save Karma when she fell in. Both had managed to get to safety but unfortunately, Rick had gotten an infection from the river water. His infection required immediate medical attention or it could get worse.
If Rick gets treatment in a hospital, there would be no one taking care of Karma. So he had no choice but to hand Karma to a rescue center temporarily until he is discharged. Despite his request, no one at the rescue center listened to Rick’s words. Instead, Karma’s stay at the shelter seemed to be permanent. Thankfully, Rick was discharged from the hospital two weeks later and his first destination was the rescue center.
