Patrick Smith was on his cigarette break during work hours when he suddenly heard a faint and weak peeping sound near him. He went to take a closer look amongst the bushes, and to his dismay, he found a fragile-looking hatchling trapped within in a PVC pipe! It was a baby killdeer – but its parents were nowhere to be seen.
Patrick decided to reunite the baby bird with his parents, and set it down gently when his parents came chirping. What he video-graphed was truly an amazing sight – thank you Patrick for your kindness shown to nature!
