People With Gardens Are Asked To Check For Tiny Eggs Before They Hatch This Spring!

The image they used for their post shows a tiny nest of hummingbirds eggs in the branches of an evergreen.

The person who took the photo was Kelly Campbell. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service wrote that the eggs are only about the size of jellybeans and they asked people to use caution and check trees and bushes for nests before trimming them this spring.

Those of you with well-maintained gardens are more likely to have a hummingbird nest – so keep an eye out!

Let the babies grow and leave the nest before you trim! Mother Nature thanks you.
