Officer Goes To Donut Shop On Wedding Day Sees Girl On The Floor And Takes Action

It isn’t every day that you find yourself in the position of being able to save someone’s life. But, it was John O’Rourke’s wedding day when he was in that very situation. O’Rourke had just stopped into Donuts To Go in Orlando when he saw a three-year-old girl laying on the floor unconscious.

The little girl had just had a seizure and O’Rourke had someone call 911 while he began mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions. O’Rourke was able to talk to the dispatcher during the call. ourke is an officer with the Florida Highway Patrol who just seems to have the ability to show up when he is needed! When the paramedics arrived, the girl had regained consciousness. To express their gratitude the donut shop gave O’Rourke a free box of donuts!

O’Rourke was able to join his bride later in the day and said his vows in front of family and friends. O’Rourke is an officer with the Florida Highway Patrol who just seems to have the ability to show up when he is needed!
