A group of local friends were able to raise about $12,000 for Nathan.
Josh, a fellow bandmate, decided to set up a GoFundMe page for the grieving first-time-dad.
In just one month, that GoFundMe campaign raised $425,515 for Nathan and Eilee (the original goal was a mere $40,000)!
Nathan wept when he heard about the incredible outpouring of support he had gotten – and most of it from complete strangers.
On the page, Josh is urging people to become organ donors.
