When you have a baby in the house, you find yourself listening for their cries. When a baby cries, it means they need something. You become ‘trained’ really quickly to hear the slightest hint of a cry, and you jump to see what they need (even if this all happens at 2 AM)! Parrots are incredible imitators, they can reproduce sounds and voices with ease!
So, the family in this story had a parrot, and then they had a baby. You can imagine what sounds the parrot picked up with a baby in the house! Crying and laughter are just two things this clever parrot has learned. I can’t imagine trying to function in this house!
