A 41 year old man named Micah Goodluck of Orange, New Jersey is currently facing animal cruelty charges for abusing a puppy. Rose was only 8 – 10 weeks old when she was found in a freezer, whining near an apartment building that does not allow dogs. The police department was notified by neighbours and they later found the puppy wrapped up in a towel.
Rose was immediately taken to the Animal Emergency & Referral Associates. She diagnosed with a fractured skull, a swollen eye and some other injuries. It is speculated that this puppy had been beaten with a baseball bat for several weeks.
