Will our pets protect us in times of need?
One Japanese mother has decided to prove that it is so – by conducting a mini experiment.
Along with her son, they acted like they got into a squabble, with the mother holding a slipper and threatening to beat him with it.
Her dogs sprang into action, barking and wagging their tails in attempt to diffuse the staged ‘beating’.
The Golden retrievers mean no harm, as they only shielded the boy’s body with their bodies while pawing his mother’s arm.
