One man walking in Quebec came across a heap of trash and sighed – someone had littered the streets again. However, he just saw it twitch, and a pair of eyes started to shine through all that heap. It wasn’t trash – it was a dog that had been greatly neglected and uncared for.
The man peered closely at the homeless dog, who was dirty and had its fur in shambles all over its body. The man alerted The Quebec Society for the Protection of Animals, and they arrived to fetch the pup back to their facility.

All that matted fur was also horribly dirty, as clumps of dirt and bacteria were also trapped in between the dog’s hair strands.

All that lumps weighed six pounds – matted fur is notoriously hard to get rid of. They had no choice but to save it all off.
