We often joke about Australia’s wildlife getting a little out of hand and showing up in unexpected places, but little do we realize just how much truth those jokes hold!
This man from Victoria, Australia was just enjoying a quiet day in his home when he was surprised by a loud sound coming from his kitchen.
He ran towards the room, and lo and behold, there was a furry animal breaking through the ceiling!
It was hanging from somewhere inside the ceiling with his little bum hanging out of the hole he’d made.
Luckily, the man had his phone on him, and he snapped plenty of pictures for the world to see.

As it turns out, the funny, furry animal was a brushtail possum, a creature often spotted in Australian gardens to feed on the local plant life.
It was an unexpected and surprising visitor, but I’m sure the man whose home was so suddenly broken into appreciated his viral fame!
