Who doesn’t love a parade?! Here in the United States, we have a lot of parades. One of the biggest is the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade! That is something my whole family watches every year! In Florida, they had a parade of a different kind. There were no marching bands or floats. It was a parade of alligators!
The alligators who participated in the ‘parade’ ranged in size from 2 feet all the way up to 12 feet! Photographer Bobby Wummer caught the action is the Big Cypress Swamp in South Florida. He said it was like a train of alligators. Wummer was sure to give the gators plenty of space as they crossed the path.

You wouldn’t want to disturb that many gators! I wonder where they were all going. The entire procession lasted about 30 minutes!
