Routine. We all have one. It brings us some level of comfort and control. Kids thrive on a routine too. Even pets enjoy a routine. You can tell it is dinnertime at my house because the dogs will suddenly appear and stare at you! I wake up in the morning, open the bedroom door, and all of my cats are there – they know that it is breakfast time!
I have an escort down to where I store the food too! They are not going to let me forget to feed them! They are trying to tell you it is time to eat! One mail carrier has a different type of routine, and it involves a cat. Debra, a mail carrier in Canada, is greeted every day by this tuxedo kitty.
