The Honest Company has announced a recall on baby wipes because of concerns about mold. It is voluntary recall that affects baby wipes sold in Canada and the United States. The wipes were sold in Baby Basics Gift Sets, in Honest Diaper Cakes, and in Baby Arrival Gift Sets. The wipes are:
- 10-count packages, UPC 0817810011276, 0816645024079, 0817810011276
- 72-count packages, UPC 0817810011863, 7000000011863, 0816645023584, 0816645023591
- 288-count packages, UPC 0817810014680
- 576-count packages, UPC 0817810028540
Christopher Gavigan, the Co-Founder and Chief Purpose Officer of The Honest Company, said that they don’t believe the product will cause any adverse health concerns and that the mold is often found on citrus plants.
