One fine afternoon in Norwich, Connecticut located in the United States, Mayor Peter Nystrom was out on his campaign trail when he stumbled upon a cat named Elliot, who was shot with an arrow for no apparent reason.
Elliot was rushed to the local animal medical facility, All Friends Animal Hospital, for emergency medical treatment – the arrow had to be removed before the cat’s injuries start to get infected. The surgery was expensive, much to the owners’ dismay. However, Mayor Nystrom was kind enough to step in and foot Elliot’s medical bill!

The shooter however, was left unidentified even after Elliot recovered from his injury.
