On 11 March 2017, one photo uploaded by Phillipino user Jhunnel Sarajan has touched the world – and it involves a selfless father showing his true love for his two daughters at a local fast food restaurant. Jhunnel noted that the man, 38-year-old Ryan Arebuabo, only watched his two daughters eat while he did not – both girls were age 8 and 9 respectively.
Four years prior, the poor man suffered a stroke, which only led him to be unable to continue selling boiled corn on the streets – speaking and moving about were hard for him. Alas, his wife left him – even though he did gain custody over his two daughters.
The small family lives in a make-shift house made out of plywood located on the slums of Tondo, Manila. He continued to make a living by selling small household items issued to him by the Government, as well as some monetary grants. Aid poured in from all over the world after this photo was posted – and soon the trio would be able to live a better life!
