When our loved ones die, there are certain items we may keep around the house to remember then by. A photo, a nick knack, an old car, or even a set of fancy dishes. One grandfather knew he was dying and wanted to make his passing a little less difficult on his family. He took an old favorite shirt and turned it into a pillow.
Not many people like to talk about death and what that process means and does to a family. Having a keepsake that was made by your loved one so you could remember them by is a very powerful thing. You can imagine sitting on the couch and grabbing that pillow and being flooded with happy memories of your grandfather.
