The Ambulance Wish Foundation granted Mario, 54, a wish that allowed him an up-close one-on-one session with some giraffes at the Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp) in the Netherlands. Mario had brain cancer and had worked at the zoo for half of his life.
Because Mario is paralyzed, his hospital bed was taken around the zoo and into the giraffe habitat where the touching moment happened. The long-neck animals seemed to be able to tell that Mario was there to say his final goodbye.
One of the giraffes came over and seemed to kiss him right on the face! Watch the video below and see the special moment for yourself!

Kees Veldboer, the founder, and director of The Ambulance Wish Foundation, said that Mario’s face lit up and it was an honor to help Mario fulfill his dying wish.
