In April 2016 last year, a boy named Joshua who hailed from Fort Worth in Texas, United States was found dead and muddy in a pool near their backyard. He had drowned.
Officer Damon Cole tried to revive him, but to no avail. When a funeral was organised for the boy, Damon decided that Joshua needed a greater send-off.
The boy was wearing Spider-Man merchandise when he was found. His family asked Damon if he could dress as the superhero himself to honor his memory. The police officer agreed.
