The famed Guinness World Records has a surprising new entry in the canine category; unlike no other.
Meet Freddy, a 4 year-old Great Dane declared as the world’s largest dog to date.
Freddy the Great Dane stands at a record high of 7 feet and 6 inches, weighing over 200 pounds – that’s almost thrice the size of a normal Great Dane! His owner stands at only 5 foot and 4 inches – what a difference!

Freddy is highly active, requiring a 40 minute walk in the wee hours everyday to keep him healthy and active. Clare walks her dog in the morning to prevent other dogs from becoming intimidated of Freddy’s size.
