Former UFC Fighter Ties Dog To Car In Airport Parking Lot And Abandons Her

Frank Shamrock is best known as the former winner of the Ulitmate Fighting Championship. This popular fighting show has generated countless fans around the world.

Frank has recently received a lot of negative media attention after his treatment of a dog.

He left his mother’s seven-year-old dog tied to his truck at the Dallas airport. The dog was left alone for five days.

Frank claims that he attempted to “find a home” for the chocolate labrador. Zelda is the name of his mother’s dog.

He posted a message on his Facebook page desperately looking for someone to adopt the dog.

His mother wasn’t able to care for her dogs anymore, and Frank was in a rush to catch his flight. He was calling out to everyone in the Dallas area, but no one responded in time.

He decided to tie the poor dog to his truck in the airport parking lot and leave on his flight.

A local Dallas TV station interviewed Frank about the incident. He claimed that he spoke with every no-kill shelter within a 200-mile radius of Dallas.

Allegedly, no shelter was interested in taking care of the dog. During the interview, Frank said that no one would want a seven-year-old dog that has a “goofy hip”.

Frank also claimed that he left Zelda with water and food. Despite his claims that he alerted security about the situation, Zelda was left in the same spot for five days.

It is very unlikely that airport security would have allowed this to happen. He admitted that the incident was “terrible” and “unfortunate”.

Frank even had the audacity to call himself an animal lover. Nobody is believing his claim after this stunt.
