When a couple in Washington were starting up their car to collect their kids after school, they hadn’t expected to see something exit the hood of their car. Worried about what it might be, they went to take a look – but they could never have expected this!
Inside their engine, a whole family of baby weasels were lying in a nest. Their mother had escaped through the hood when the engine started, and her little ones were left behind.
Each weighed only 10 grams; they were so tiny!
The babies were taken in by A Soft Place To Land (ASPTL) in Graham, a center for wildlife rehabilitation.
