This is one of those stories that makes you wonder what is wrong with this world. Bill Richardson Is an 87-year-old veteran. His is also a cat lover. Richardson has taken it upon himself to take care of the local community of cats in his neighborhood. He gives them food, shelter, and love.

This went on for about 17 years when Richardson was forced to leave his home – because he was caring for the cats. Then Berlin Township, New Jersey decided it would be a good idea to take taxpayer money and prosecute Richardson – again, for feeding and taking care of cats. Just to make it all that more insulting, they charged Richardson with having an unlicensed cat in his house.

Richardson has no family to help him. A local attorney, Theresa Grabowski volunteered to represent him. People from Richardons’ neighborhood and around the world stepped in to help Richardson. A fundraiser was set up for Richardson and his cats. An Amazon Wish List was started for Richardson by Rescue Dogs Rock Animal Rescue.
