Chailert didn’t stop there, he was able to find MeBai’s mother, Mae Yui, and was able to get her released from the trekking company that owned her. Now, all they had to do was get MeBai to walk to where her mother was.
The trip took four days and covered over 100 kilometers. A group of volunteers was happy to make sure MeBai made it there safe and sound. Imagine the joy that both MeBai and Mae Yui must have felt to see each other again.
