When Chloe Levenson was, a baby she was severely burned and while her scars are not easily seen, it has affected her life.
Chloe, now 14, recently adopted a dog. But no ordinary dog would do for the teen living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The burn hospital that treated Chloe had another treated a dog named Fireman.
When Chloe’s mom, Toby Levenson, got the call about the dog, she knew that this was the dog for Chloe.
Fireman had been burned with chemicals, not in a fire, but that doesn’t change the fact that his life was changed forever due to his injuries.
Everyone thought that Chloe would know exactly how to help Fireman.
They were right!
