Vesna was able to help the momma and babies back to good health. Soon all the pups were fat and happy – just like puppies are supposed to be!
The mother dog is healthier too and is better able to care for her newborns.
One simple act turned out to save the lives of an entire family of dogs, but sadly there are millions of dogs and cats who live in shelters.
Please don’t shop for your next pet – go to your local animal shelter and adopt one! Pet shops that sell animals are likely getting them from puppy or kitten mills – which are horrible places. Spread the word.
